Gealan S 9000
S 9000 is a versatile, state-of-the-art system for windows, doors, and sliding doors, with the option of choosing between two or three sealing levels.
GEALAN-FUTURA® is the combination of individual profiles within the S 9000 system. It enables the construction of colored window elements for passive houses in accordance with the ift WA-15/2 directive, using standard profiles and standard 2 mm steel reinforcements. The verified Uf value of 0.89 W/(m²K) confirms excellent basic thermal insulation properties. With GEALAN-FUTURA®, using STV® bonding technology, maximum sash dimensions of up to 2.40 m are possible.

Combinations in the S 9000 system
- Windows suitable for passive houses, also available in a colored version. GEALAN-FUTURA® is the combination of individual profiles within the S 9000 system. It enables the construction of colored window elements for passive houses in accordance with the ift WA-15/2 directive, using standard profiles and standard 2 mm steel reinforcements. Optimized geometries
- During the development of GEALAN-LUMAXX®, the entire frame geometry was optimized while profile widths were reduced to a minimum. The designers placed special emphasis on achieving a balanced relationship between insulating properties and structural stability, as well as perfect interaction of components. The symmetrical effect of the narrow mullion also simplifies flexibility in window construction.
Less visible frame
- A direct comparison proves it: the new GEALAN-LUMAXX® is significantly narrower than previous frame combinations. In the past, designs with mullions often required widths of up to 150 mm or more. Heavy, unattractive bars disrupted the window contour and allowed much less light into the room. Slim sightlines can now finally be achieved with the new system without compromising ease of use and security.
Without compromises
- Despite the focus on narrow sightlines, the new mullion/sash profile does not compromise on statics. Both use a specific type of steel which, thanks to its structural properties, allows elements up to 2.30 m in white and 2.20 m in color. In combination with STV® bonding technology, element sizes of up to 2.50 m in white and 2.40 m in color are possible.
